New residents $50 meter deposit.
Wakarusa residents are issued water bills around the 5th of every month with payments being due by 25th.

Quilt Garden
Wakarusa is home to one of the prettiest quilt gardens on the Heritage Trail.
Annually May 30 – September 15.

Wakarusa is the “quintessential small town” with a unique ambiance in every season!
Winter
The 25′ Christmas Tree takes it’s place “smack-dab” in the middle of Town Square in early December where the community celebrates the season with Carols, Hot Cocoa and Homemade Cookies!
Spring
Wakarusa is home to one of the prettiest quilt gardens on the Heritage Trail.
Summer
“Who takes care of your flowers?” is a frequently asked question followed by “Your town is just beautiful” during the summer months in beautiful downtown Wakarusa.
Fall
The “Pumpkin Tree” takes it stand “smack-dab” in the middle of town every October and is enhanced by local businesses graciously decorating our lamp posts!
